From www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0702/20/index.htm :

"DC Comics has announced that Batman: Black & White Volume 3, which was solicited as a trade paperback, instead will be published as a hardcover. The book is scheduled to arrive in stores on May 16 with a price of $24.99."

Here's what I posted about this release on January 16, 2007:

It's safe to say that Batman: Black and White Vol. 3 TPB will include a reprint of the 8-page "Last Call at McSurley's" by Mike W. Barr, Alan Davis and Mark Farmer from Batman: Gotham Knights #25. (Batman: Black and White Vol. 2 TPB reprinted the b & w tales from the first sixteen issues of Batman: Gotham Knights.)

Excerpted from www.newsarama.com/NYCC/2007/Marvel/cup_o_joe.html :

"As an answer to many suggestions from fans, (Dan) Buckley announced that Marvel will be collecting the covers drawn by artists for the Hero Initiative Ultimate 100 - 100 covers of Ultimate Spider-Man #100 drawn by various artists which are being auctioned off to generate funds for Heroes Initiative. The collected volume will, according to a Marvel source speaking to Newsarama, include all the covers except the cover drawn by Todd McFarlane. The release date for the collected edition will be announced soon, and will be distributed through the Hero Initiative."
