Alan Davis' website mentioned in Rough Stuff #3!

Bob McLeod's editorial on page 2 of Rough Stuff #3 from TwoMorrows Publishing (released Jan. 10th) includes a listing of the websites of the artists who've been featured in Rough Stuff issues past and present, and so www.alandavis-comicart.com is among the sites listed. (Alan Davis was featured in Rough Stuff #1.)

According to the ebay auction below, Spider-Man Weekly #533 (Marvel UK) from 1983 includes a "Daredevils advert/poster by Alan Davis."

http://cgi.ebay.com/SPIDER-MAN-WEEKLY-M ... dZViewItem

This is most likely the same Daredevils ad/poster that appeared in The Daredevils #7 (cover-dated July 1983). A reduced image of the ad/poster found within The Daredevils #7 appears on the left side of that issue's cover, a scan of which can be seen at www.4colorheroes.com/daredevils7.html

Davis interview in 'February 2001 Product' issue of Worlds of Westfield!

Westfield Comics interviewed Tom Brevoort, Kurt Busiek and Alan Davis about The Avengers in late 2000 (in anticipation of the Busiek/Davis run on the series), and this interview appears online at http://westfieldcomics.com/wow/frm_int_046.html . Alan Davis also talks about Killraven and Superboy's Legion in the interview.

The reason I'm bringing this up now (years after the interview was mentioned and linked to on the old Alan Davis Internet Junction forum) is that the interview must have seen print, too, in the 'Feb 2001 Product' issue of the Worlds of Westfield catalog. The date on the cover of this issue of the catalog was probably December 2000 (for February-shipping products).

Checklist addendum -

While the checklist on Alan's site notes that an issue of 2000 AD Sci-Fi Special has a D.R. & Quinch 2-page color poster, it should be specified that it's the 1987 issue of 2000 AD Sci-Fi Special that has this poster.

Having flipped through the following items from DK Publishing, I can confirm the Davis reprint art found within:

- Villains of the DC Universe Glow in the Dark Sticker Book includes a sticker of Alan's rendition of Sinestro from the cover of Green Lantern: Emerald Dawn II TPB.
http://us.dk.com/nf/Book/BookDisplay/0, ... 31,00.html

- Marvel Ultimate Sticker Collection includes the same sticker of Thor that had previously appeared in Avengers Ultimate Sticker Book. The Thor drawing is taken from The Avengers (Vol.3) #39.
http://us.dk.com/nf/Book/BookDisplay/0, ... 30,00.html

- Fantastic Four: Evil Adversaries, from the DK Readers line, includes 3 separate Davis illos: the wraparound cover art (text and logo-free) for Fantastic Four (Vol.3) #1; Mr. Fantastic from Alan's run on Fantastic Four (Vol.3); detail of just the FF from the front cover of Fantastic Four (Vol.3) #1.
http://us.dk.com/nf/Book/BookDisplay/0, ... 27,00.html

- The X-Men School, also from the DK Readers line, includes a full page devoted to Alan's cover art (text and logo-free) for Uncanny X-Men #459.
