Alan Davis unleashed, a little bit more avant-garde, a little bit more self-indulgent, a little bit different in many ways.
When I say European, I'm mostly thinking of the French and Belgian markets, but not to forget the Netherlands and Germany. The Netherlands have often had a parallel publication of the french-language material, and of course, it's got its own gems, like Don Lawrence's Storm. And Germany has in recent years gotten a flourishing indie and underground-comic scene.
Seriously, I think it would be a great experience, and I'm sure there's many a European comic-creator that would be interested in collaborating with Alan Davis!
If you would be interested in collaboration instead of flying completely solo, that is. Or maybe you've already done a European-only project? Or perhaps I should say, non-english project.
