I queried Gary Spencer Millidge as to whether his new book Comic Book Design includes any Alan Davis content, and he informed me that "Yes, Comic Book Design features a number of pieces by Alan - as well as a few choice quotes. There's the Human Torch costume redesign, a Wolverine: First Class cover in various stages of development, sketch, pencils and finished page from FF: The End #5; and the Emila Witherspoon character sketches."

Remember the Davis/Farmer Spidey pin-up from page 79 of Modern Masters Volume One: Alan Davis? Alan is quoted on page 78 as saying "I never saw this pin-up in print so I have no idea where it was published." Turns out that's the Davis/Farmer pin-up found in Spider-Man: Round Robin - The Sidekick's Revenge TPB from 1994.
