Re: Inter-company Crossovers

I can totally understand that. I liked the idea better myself when it was uncluttered; when heroes from either company met and no explanation was given (or needed) as to why they were occupying the same reality (Superman/Spider-Man, X-Men/Teen Titans...). Nowadays, there seem to be a lot of politics...

Inter-company Crossovers

Hi Alan.

I was just wondering if you ever wanted to do, ever considered doing or were ever asked to do a DC/Marvel (or other inter-company) crossover. If the answer is yes to any of these, any thoughts as to which characters you would use?

Thanks for any responses.

Nice! I like that it doesn't have Spider-Man or Wolverine on it.

Can't say I'm thrilled about BMB writing it.

Re: Mr Davis, are some of your art fair game for Colouring?

Not displeased. It is quite simply that I don’t regard myself as an artist. I’m a storyteller. I despise the cult of celebrity, pretentiousness and ego that has made comics about illustration rather than story and character
Well said.

Re: THOR: THE TRUTH OF THE HISTORY

That's your first post? Oh, the "you hit a nerve so I will trash your first post cause I'm stupid but I want you to look stupid" defence... Ah, very original. Anyway, what exactly am I defending? No nerves were hit and I didn't trash anything (you did, actually; twice). I was just openly wondering ...

Re: THOR: THE TRUTH OF THE HISTORY

Well, if certeanly the Sphinx isn't very central to Thor punching a griffing for 8 pages, you should have left the Sphinx out of your story, and just depict a griffin-headed monolith or whatever, without messing around with what is without doubt the hottest point in Marvel RECORDED history by far. ...

Re: Another ClanDestine series?

The series didn’t sell well enough to justify a regular, or semi-regular, ClanDestine title. However, I’m currently working on three annuals for next year, FF, DD and Wolverine-- and though I can’t go into detail-- ClanDestine fans will not be disappointed (I hope). I should also mention that the T...

Re: THOR: THE TRUTH OF THE HISTORY

Paulo thanks for your support BUT be assured my use of the Sphinx was NOT a continuity lapse or mistake on my part. I was fully aware of the Sphinx’s established history in the Marvel Universe and I had good reason to ‘contradict’ it. Hopefully the reasons why will become a little clearer when the ...

Re: THOR: THE TRUTH OF THE HISTORY

I stand corrected, Pedro! Wow, I'd never even have figured out. I think there was a soft whisper at the back of my brain, but otherwise it went straight over my head. D'oh! That said, I kind of see the whole Sphinx thing is a running gag in all of pop culture, as shown by your Asterix example, so I ...
