Another ClanDestine series?

Hi Alan,

I don't know if you've been asked this before or ad nauseum but, is there any buzz on a new ClanDestine series? Either mini or ongoing? I've not heard anything about how the first one did as far as actual numbers but I was curious.

Don't think I can get enough of the Clan!

What about a sketchbook?

Hi Alan! Thank you for the wealth of updates recently on your website. I love studying the pencil art and had my head explode looking at some of the Mark Farmer inked pages! Awesome stuff! What are the chances of a coffee table style sketchbook printed chock full of some of your printed stuff, commi...

Soooo....will we see a sequel?

Hi Alan! I've been TOTALLY loving ClanDestine and my mind is boggling with how you're going to wrap it all up in #5. Which begs the question: Is there going to be another series? A sequel? I don't know how the sales have been but man! Would I love to see more of the Clan! Thanks for showing more of ...

I agree. I've been buying 3 copies each month - one for me and two for friends I'm hoping to hook on comics. (I wanted to show them what a well drawn, thoughful and fun comic was - what better than ClanDestine?). Is there someone - Joey Q or someone - that we can write and badger into giving us more...

Since we're on the subject of Cerise.... I loved the newer characters that you'd introduced into Excalibur - Cerise, Kylun, Micromax and even Feron. I always felt that they had so much potential. I mean, Kylun had what he felt was a stupid power but the potential never had a chance to be explored. F...

Alan, Thanks for the explanation again! Amazing how background business can interfere with such creativity! I for one NEVER saw Rori's bad "dream" as an unsuitable explanation for issues 9-12. I can remember actually breathing a sigh of relief reading that and saying, "Oh...I was right. It WAS just ...

About the end of your involvment with the first Clan run . .

Hi again Alan! Sorry to be such a noodge with all my questions, but I find anything you do to be fascinating on several levels. I can remember picking up ClanDestine Vol 1 # 9 (8? 9? Memory fails, sorry) and being fairly horrified at the . . uhm . . changes that were being wrought unnecessarily and ...

[/quote]It's the only version as far as I'm concerned. Some of the best stories and art ever produced in comics, and only one of a few times Marvel UK wasn't the poor relative! I've never read any other version and really wouldn't want to. I've seen Captain Britain drawn by others and it's amazing h...

Thanks for the update to your site!

Hi Alan! I just saw that you had updated your own site with some stunning drawings! I don't know which drawing I liked the best: the Phoenix, Conan, Thor or Hulk/Thing fight! They all seem to have been "designed" with something in mind. Were these to be included in a portfolio or some kind of tradin...

Alan! Thank you SO much for the fast reply! No matter what Kay's form is I love her attitude and the possibility of diversity that she can bring with her body hopping. I appreciate your desire to leave comics as entertainment. If I were to dwell on the idea tho...hmm...given her...erratic behavior, ...

Cuckoo's current body?

Hi Alan! Awesome first issue (again!) of the Clan! Sighhh...all's right in the world. Just a quick question about Jasmine/Kay/Cuckoo. In her current incarnation, is the body she's using that of a Spanish woman? Indian? The colorist seems to be leaning towards that of Indian. I think its fascinating ...

Hi Alan! Just got home and first book read was of course, ClanDestine! What an awesome read! Thank you so much for providing a few bits more of the Clan's place in historical events. Gives me chills to realize how old Adam and Kay/Jasmine are! I couldn't believe I was at the last page already. I bou...

I remember the Phoenix issue as well and was both thrilled that someone had the guts to straighten her backstory out but was disappointed that you hadn't drawn it. I won't criticize the artist on that issue but I will say it would've looked gorgeous had you drawn it Alan. What WAS the reason another...
