Hello Alan Was it your idea to have Cerise be a Shi'ar alien or was that introduced by another writer? I don't recall it being said in your run that she was Shi'ar, but I could be misremembering. Also, was the scene where Cerise removes her helmet in EXCALIBUR #47 inspired by the scene in X-MEN #105...

Interesting. Can you name any examples? I've always considered Argent the most original of the Clan, power-wise.

Of course, if Bob Kane had been solely responsible for Batman's look, he probably would have been a completely different animal, based on quotes by Bill Finger (the unheralded contributor to Batman's look) and Kane himself.

They're all superb, but I particularly like the Big Barda/Mr. Miracle one. Also like the Storm one, though it would be awesome to see a pic of her in her original costume by Mr. D.

Not that I'd consider it a knock against the book, of course, but I consider the old logo rather boring, in retrospect.

Looking back at the old CD issues, she seemed to take on her somehwat swarthy look when Helen Nally took over as colorist. She was way too dark in the X-M/CD issues. Odd, since she (or her host body, rather) did not have anything close to that skin tone in CD #1 v.1.
