Don't they have any -in-house- artists for precisely -that- sort of thing!?

Imagine that, a company who sells a product that they don't have a craftsperson on site to produce/alter or otherwise advise, should there be a need!

Telly!

Flipping through the dross on the Telly the other night I caught the tail-end of some programme that had a short about Alan Moore. As mildly interesting as this was...you know, actually I didn't find it interesting, it was clearly that this was the only rarity on Comics as a subject matter that I ha...

The OHMU editor told me that he believed I deserved to be credited with any work which has been 'resourced' (traced or composed) from an image I had originally drawn. While I appreciate the good intention behind this gesture, as I explained in the posting on my website 'Credit where Credit's due?',...

I recall [regretfully not the name] Bryan Hitch telling me about an inker [Spanish, Argintinian...shrugs] whom they met. And the subject of splitting brush hairs came up. this inker pulled out a brush that was dog-eared and split beyond all semblance of it's original retail look. He then inked some ...

Robin, am I going crazy or have you "recently" moved to New York? I though you were from the U.K!? The only reason I picked up on it was your DickBlick link...I was going to ask you whether you thought the international postage merited the use of this site* until I noted that your "location:" was Ne...

Oh and I meant to add that I've heard a lot of people swear-by India ink, although I wasn't overly keen on it myself.

Re: decent ink?

If anyone has any suggestions, you be saving the last of my hair from falling out. Row. Hi Row, I -also- use Rotring ink with both brush and nib. I had found the same problem that you mention. My "solution" [however helpful it is] was to add water to the Rotring ink. I usually add about a tea-spoon...

CSI

Alan, what's the story behind the -very amusing- CSI drawing, recently added to your gallery? Loved it! You mention how "drawing for fun" can sometimes be a victim at the hands of Proffessional status. I hope these little insights are aspects your cultivating, when time allows. "Fun" I think is an e...

Nodding and agreeing Gordon. It was a joy to see the Night Raven stuff as well. But my fave was the new Conan piece. Beautiful pencils.

Sorry, I couldn't refind the thread that this was mentioned in, however I really wanted to add my enthusiasim to this curtain call. I really enjoyed the series as a kid when it was on. So I got a huge kick from seeing your drawings. With all the mythilogical and fantasy based Hollywood movies, this ...

You haven't missed any 'news', Darren. I broke my right wrist when I was thirteen and as I've grown older the damaged bones warped to create a ‘lax joint’. Anyone who has seen me at a Convention might have noticed that I wear a wrist support because an enthusiastic or awkward handshake can put me o...
