Thanks for the extremely kind words, Zeno. Although I haven’t given a lot of detail about the ClanDestine family and their extensive and complex history in their very limited appearances I do have a framework of major events, relationships and motivations mapped out which would make the idea of Kay...

Alan Davis artwork at comicartfans.com

http://www.comicartfans.com/SearchResult.asp

If my 'search' link doesn't do well, just do a search on Alan Davis. There's a fair amount of artwork there from pencilled pages to finished pages to what looks like con sketches.

Hello Mr. Davis! If you do sketches at the Bristol con, could you sneak in a Rachel Summers as Phoenix in her red hound costume? I'd be more than willing to compensate you and pay for postage! I'd love to attend the con but crossing the Atlantic ocean is a bit too expensive for me at this time. Than...

Hell, why not another question!

:D

There are a few debates on other comic forums about artists literally tracing photos into their comic art. Some readers don't mind it, others abhor it and then there's the whole moral and copyright dilema. I was just wondering if you had an opinion on the subject.

Thanks!

While I'm full of questions lately...

I remember you previously saying that you sometimes base characters off real people to help with visual reference such as Newton for an example. As I've probably over-stated here and elsewheres, Rachel Summers is my favorite character. I was just wondering if you had used any women as guides for Rac...

Who painted/colored the ClanDestine Christmas card?

Hello Mr. D!

Just wondering who did the colors/painting for the ClanDestine Christmas card on your website. It looks fairly realistic in style so it's throwing me off if you did it. Are you working in a in a style?

Looking forward to more ClanDestine!

Are you going to join comicspace?

This place is really new - only weeks old. It's sort of like MySpace but for people into comic books.

http://www.comicspace.com/

Nothing really to do there yet except add friends but features will be added.

I'm there as http://www.comicspace.com/JamesRoberts

Any chance of a ClanDestine update?

Hello,

I was just wondering how things were coming along with the new ClanDestine book. Is the wrist causing delays? Are you far into pencilling the book? Any inked pages yet? And things like the preceeding in general.

Thanks!

I'm not sure I want to remember this story but was that the god awful one-shot where the warwolves meld into one being forming a gateway I guess to Mojoworld? I really can't recall much else other than that it was a terrible comic through and through.

Looks like my local comic shop blew it and never gave me mine for my pull list. Guess I shouldn't have stopped being the pull list guy grunt.

I was able to get a 'Rough Cut' off the shelf. It looks pretty sweet. Maybe even better than the colord cover I saw on line.

Alan Davis comparison that hasn't gone flame yet

Guys posting their opinions on Alan Davis compared to Travis Charest on Digital Webbing. No flame war yet, just guys posting what they think in a civilized manner which is very cool.

Mr. D. Do you have any say if...

For a little while after you left ClanDestine on-going series other writers filled the void though not as skillfully. Since you own ClanDestine, if one of these writers or even a new one wanted to kill off a family member from the original line-up, do you have a say in the matter? And while I like C...

Davis vs Hitch from Bendis Board

http://www.606studios.com/bendisboard/showthread.php?t=88628 About 9 pages of posts. The first 3 pages relate to the subject. The middle pages drift off into other artists and pages 8 & 9 sort of get back on topic and discuss what happened between Alan Davis and Bryan Hitch for those that might be ...
