I began my site in response to requests for roughs, sketches and unpublished work so most of my early postings were of ‘unseen’ work that enthusiasts had already mentioned on Ryan Bedard’s Thy Te Internet Junction. After a year or so I felt I had posted the most interesting or best and began to pos...

2 artists together?
Hello mr. Davis, after reading the post about Byrne, it came to my mind a problem that I have, and maybe you have something to say about it. From 10 years ago, when I was an art student, I've allways wanted to work with a friend of me, who wants the same. We are both artists, and we like the work of...

A better translation (I hope)
There is a link to a translation of the spanish interview done to mr. Davis in a thread done by Ilke. The web translator is so horrible that I've spend some time fixing it a bit for myself, im not a pro of translations, but hey, its hard to do it worse than the web translators..:) Here it is: Was ye...

Well, I think I understand what you say, but again, I think mr. Davis is right. Books of anatomy and understanding of the work of other artists are indeed a must, but you have to remember that those artists change reality through their own understanding, and you must know that reality to change it y...

After some posts here, I suppose its polite to show myself 1) What is your real name? Guillermo P. Mogorrón 2) Where you from? Madrid, Spain 3) How old are you? 28 4) What is your favorite Alan Davis work? For a great artist like mr. Davis, each job is better than the last one, so I will use nostalg...

I have to agree here with mr Davis, if the inking proccess is part of a chain of work, like in US comics, the artist lose control in a small or big part, (depends of the inker), and digital inking gives a big part of the proccess to one person that is not the penciler. But for some ways of understan...

Well Alan, I think your corrections about what I say are right, and about the buscema story, Im sure that he was not bitter about his art or his skills, but maybe about what he did in comic book industry sometimes, the commercial part, as you say. Probably I was not able to tell the story as it was,...

If I can add something, I was years ago in the Gijon Comic Con when John Buscema and Sergio Aragones were guests there, It was one of the best weeks in my life, and the top moment for many of us was the conference of John Buscema. John in his speech was talking about how his work in comic books, how...

Its a honour to me to link your web, and the only stealing i can be guilty of is the one that your influence did on my style, I hope it be not very obvious. I hope it be like the influence ...
